Cremona #1, a charming glance into the contrast of life in Bella Italia, immediately captured the attention of Creative Results’ Sarah-Jane Finlayson, and quickly took pride of place in her agency’s meeting room.
“Our work here requires us to develop creative solutions that have visual impact, but are also steeped in a solid strategy. Cremona #1 struck us as photographic art mimicking work, so to speak! The bike in the photograph is functional and has purpose, whilst the poster artwork brings beauty and aesthetic appeal to the overall image,” said Sarah-Jane.
Deciding to use a photograph as the room’s interior design anchor piece was a fairly easy decision.
“Photographic artwork seemed like the obvious choice to mirror our creative eye. Choosing an image was just as easy. Although Visual Resource’s online gallery has expanded considerably, I really enjoyed visiting the website under my own steam and making a decision in my own time,” said Sarah-Jane.
“The whole image selection process was really organic and although I knew Visual Resource was on hand to offer advice, I was comfortable with each decision I made; from choosing the image, to deciding on a canvas print finish,” she said.
“I think one of the biggest plusses for us was that we could do all this, and not lose any time working.”
And the finished piece?
“Everyone loves it. Even those who visit and don’t make a comment, I see their eyes wander and rest on the image – it certainly has had the intended effect!”
